Our Story, Values & Leadership

"Barragi Mawang" Means To Fly, Together.

Rooted in Wiradjuri, Gunditjmara and Wongaibon culture, driven by creative innovation, and built for meaningful impact.

01Our Story

Barragi Mawang is an independent creative agency that bridges high-level strategic communication with high-production visual content.

We believe that the most powerful brands and campaigns don't just broadcast messages, they build connections. By combining narrative strategy with in-house technical capabilities (camera operations, aerial drone capture, professional audio engineering, and digital design), we ensure nothing gets lost in translation between concept and final output.

Whether leading historic communications for the NSW Treaty process or helping emerging businesses define their visual identity, we bring passion, cultural awareness, and absolute precision to every project.

  • End-to-End Execution

We don't just write strategy decks and leave you to figure out the rest. We shoot it, edit it, design it, and launch it.

  • Elevating Capabilities

Armed with cinema-grade tools, aerial technology, and audio infrastructure, we give your message the production quality it deserves.

Acknowledgement of Country

Growing up, my father taught me how to acknowledge Country as we travelled across Australia. Long before it became a widespread custom, it was a quiet, deeply personal practice between our family and the land, a way of introducing ourselves to the Country and its spirits, letting them know who we were, and taking the time to listen in return.

While the tradition of acknowledging Country has now evolved and entered the mainstream, that foundational respect remains at the heart of everything I do.

I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands where I live, work, and travel across the different nations. I pay my respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples. I honour their enduring connection to land, waters, and culture, and remain grateful for the privilege of walking on this Country.
